Let’s take a look at the interior of the Commodor series and get a feeling for WEILER’s quality and straight-forward operation.
Feed gearbox: three rotary knobs and a lever permit the selection of up to 200 feeds.
Reversing gearbox: here we use a motor with two power shift stages, an integrated clutch ensures smooth spindle start-up.
Slides: the specially-coated carriage guide as well as the cross slide and top feed screw are lubricated by means of a central pump.
Apron: with a lubrication reservoir, it also serves as a lubrication center.
Tailstock: includes pressure relief for easy movement along the bed.
Drive: depending on your preferences, WEILER´s Commodor is supplied either with a two-speed motor with fixed spindle speeds or a high performance infinitely variable main drive.
But that’s not all: we have developed something special to ensure complete control of the machining process – the WEILER DZ-V digital readout (direct speed input and selection of cutting speed) for constant cutting speeds and the digital readout.
